Frequently asked questions

Do you work across the whole of the United Kingdom?

Our home ground is across the North West around Haydock and St Helens, but we travel where the job needs us. Long-distance groundworks are priced with a travel and accommodation allowance so there are no surprises when the programme reaches the digging phase.

Can you price a job from a set of planning drawings?

We can, but an honest groundworks price needs a look at the real ground. Give us the drawings and we will make a desktop figure; then we come out, probe the formation, read the boreholes, and give you the firm number you can build a tender on.

What do I need ready before you start?

You need a signed scope, an agreed datum, clear access for our plant, and the structural drawings for the founding elements. We will hold a pre-start meeting, mark the levels together, and only then does the first bucket come out of the ground.
